Position Offered: General Labourer

Are you looking for an active position with the ability to showcase your abilities and build your experience in the trades? Our position of General Labourer is an entry-level position that encompasses working on various supporting tasks on the construction site, thus offering plenty of opportunities for personal development, growth and experience in the field. This position’s duties include supporting the crew with maneuvering material and equipment around the construction site. Assisting with and/or positioning of items to help to get the task done! Organizing supplies as well as other general tasks as assigned. You will assist in traffic management and support other Sega workers on-site in order to ensure safe, effective and efficient operations of the task at hand for the company.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maneuvering material around the site.
- Organize supplies & assisting in moving of materials
- Assisting operators with and/or positioning of items and supplies around the site
- Supporting operators and other Sega employees on-site to get the job done
- Assist with Traffic Control
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Bilingualism is an asset - English and French environment
- The ability to lift heavy items, bend, kneel and stand for extended periods of time is required
- Excellent organizational, decision-making, time management and prioritization skills
- Proven ability as a team player
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable around heavy machinery
- Previous construction experience is an Assist.
- The ability to operate equipment such as power tools, or heavier equipment is an asset
- ON Traffic Control (TCB7) Certification is an asset
