Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Dental Technician to join our dental laboratory team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality dental prosthetics and restorations, ensuring they meet precise specifications and patient needs. Duties
- Fabricate dental partials, bridges, dentures, and other restorations based on detailed prescriptions and specifications.
- Utilize CAD (3 shape or exocad) software to design dental components with precision.
- Prepare and finish dental appliances, ensuring proper fit, function, and aesthetics.
- Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to interpret laboratory requests and resolve technical issues.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used in accordance with laboratory standards.
- Operate laboratory equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Keep the work area organized and stocked with necessary supplies for efficient workflow.
Experience
- Previous laboratory experience in a dental or medical setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with CAD software used in dental design is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry enhances communication with clinical staff.
- Experience with dental assisting or working within a dental office environment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to interpret technical drawings are essential skills for success in this role.
