We are currently looking for a resident ''Handyman'', for our EQ8 building, in Lasalle, full-time and on call for emergencies. Are you said to be a versatile person, agile with your hands and with a keen sense of organization? You are the person we need! Member of the maintenance department team, the handyman has the main function of ensuring the general maintenance of the building.
- Able to change water heaters
- Able to lay floating floor
- All other related tasks
- Cleaning in the common areas of the building
- Ensure the maintenance and cleanliness of the premises
- Knowledge of fire safety rules
- Knowledge of plumbing and electricity
- Knowledge of ventilation system
- See to the maintenance and monitoring of equipment and mechanical systems
- Actively participate in various company committees - Know and apply company policies and procedures
- Clear and salt the entrances
- Communicate the maintenance needs for materials and products and upkeep of the building to the immediate superior
- Make service calls
- Minor repairs in apartments and common areas (plaster, paint, change lights, various installations, etc.)
- Organise or perform all other related tasks regarding the maintenance department, as required and as requested by the immediate superior
- Preventive maintenance on equipment
- Remove snow and ice on sidewalks
- A DEP in general builing maintenance (as asset)
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years experience
- Customer service experience an asset
- Has tools
