Automotive Service Technician Apprentice
About the Opportunity
We are looking for a motivated “3-4 Year” Automotive Service Technician Apprentice to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about the trade, eager to learn, and committed to high quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with vehicle diagnostics — Support licensed technicians in identifying mechanical and electrical issues.
- Perform basic repairs — Complete supervised work on brakes, suspension, tires, batteries, and fluid services.
- Routine maintenance — Oil changes, inspections, lubrication, and filter replacements.
- Shop organization — Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
- Documentation — Record work performed and parts used accurately.
Qualifications
- Registered or eligible to register as an Automotive Service Technician Apprentice with Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training (AIT)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow direction and work in a fast paced environment
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with clean abstract
- Basic tool set is required
