Job Summary
As a member of our Patrol team, you play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of all guests and staff across the resort. From providing emergency first aid and mountain dispatch to conducting lift evacuations and risk assessments, you help maintain a safe and welcoming alpine environment. This position requires a high level of experience, physical fitness, and clear communication. You are a front-line team member who brings leadership, calm under pressure, and guest service excellence to every shift. In this role, you help create an inclusive experience—united by adventure and empowered by community.

Wage: Based on certifications and experience-
Schedule: Full-time including weekends and holidays

Reports to: Patrol Team Lead or Patrol Director
Job Responsibilities

Provide first aid to guests and staff across the mountain
-
Operate first aid toboggans and assist in lift evacuations
-
Participate in mountain dispatch and support emergency response procedures
-
Support slope safety through risk assessment, guest education, and enforcement of the Alpine Responsibility Code
-
Assist with avalanche control and search and rescue efforts (where qualified)
-
Conduct weather observations and support reporting systems

Operate snowmobiles safely and responsibly

Maintain professional communication via radio and with other departments

Complete regular snow clearing (shoveling, raking, sweeping)

Support public relations and guest experience in all patrol interactions

Follow all resort safety and operational policies

Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Required:-
Occupational First Aid (OFA Level 3), Outdoor Emergency Care (OEC), or Advanced Wilderness First Aid

Intermediate to advanced skier or snowboarder, capable in all terrain and conditions

High level of physical fitness and able to work in all weather conditions

Preferred:

CAA Avalanche Operations Level 1

Previous ski patrol or ski hill experience

Toboggan handling skills

Snowmobile experience

Must be comfortable making critical safety decisions quickly and effectively

Strong verbal communication and problem-solving abilities

Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks

Comfortable working independently or as part of a team

Willingness to work cross-departmentally during peak periods

Available to work weekends and holidays as required
