Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Class 5 Driver/Warehouse Helper to join our team and assist with deliveries.
Warehouse workers are responsible for the safe and efficient handling of inventory as well as assisting with the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse work area(s) and providing excellent customer service.
The ideal candidate will have experience in driving, warehouse operations, heavy lifting, with strong communication skills to ensure smooth daily operations.
Duties
- Safely operate delivery van to deliver goods to various locations
- Assist with loading and unloading materials into delivery van
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and pickups
- Maintain delivery logs and notes
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding delivery details
- Perform general warehouse tasks including cleaning, garbage, recycling, housekeeping, sweeping, etc.
- Other duties as assigned by Warehouse Manager/Management
What we’re looking for in a team member:
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Has experience with physical jobs
- Physically fit and able to lift 50 – 75+ lbs regularly and repeatedly
- Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and time management
- Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment and adhere to safety protocols
- Forklift certification or experience operating forklifts an asset
Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
