Our Client in the Port Perry Area is seeking General Food Packagers.
Must be able to work Day and Afternoon shifts
FULL TIME CANDIDATES ONLY WHO CAN WORK MONDAY TO FRIDAY
8 hour shifts (start times vary based on product, but generally start at 7:30 dayshift and 3:30pm/4:00pm for the afternoon shift)
Pay: $18.30 for the Day shift and $18.85 for the Afternoon shift
Duties:
The largest percentage of time is spent packaging finished products into retail boxes.
· Sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products.
· Check and weigh materials and products.
· Visual quality checks of product against customer and internal specifications (including foreign materials and weight checks).
· Maintain the cleanliness of areas of responsibility
· Adhere to Product, Food Safety Quality Assurance, and Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures.
All PPE needed is provided by the client, including boots.
· Reliable and dependable
· Able to work in a fast paced and repetitive task environment.
· Physically fit and able to lift, push and/or pull weights of up to 20 lbs. The weight of products is between 10 and 20 lbs.
· Be willing to adhere to all hygienic and food safety requirements in the plant.
Must follow all Health and Safety guidelines as your are dealing with Food Product **Beef, Chicken, and Pork **
