As we continue to expand our operations in the Kelowna and Vancouver regions, we are seeking a dedicated Journeyman / Foreman to lead our field teams.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Starting Rate: $42.50/hour for the initial 3 months.
- Performance Increase: Advances to $45.00/hour upon successful completion of the 3-month probationary period.
- Premium Advance: An immediate $45.00/hour starting rate is offered upfront for candidates holding a valid FSR certification or those stepping directly into the Foreman role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute comprehensive electrical installations, maintenance, and specialized controls work on commercial and industrial jobsites.
- Supervise, mentor, and organize field crews and apprentices, ensuring all work strictly adheres to the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) and company standards.
- Interpret blueprints, complex schematics, control diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Maintain rigorous jobsite safety protocols and coordinate daily project progress with administrative operations.
Requirements:
- Certification: Valid Red Seal Electrical Journey Certificate is mandatory.
- Travel Flexibility: Willingness and availability for required out-of-town project work.
- Licensing: Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
- Background Check: A mandatory criminal record check is a condition of employment.
- Assets: FSR Certification or extensive experience with control systems is highly advantageous.
