Duties and Responsibilities
- General repair to Motorhomes, Travel Trailers, Fifth-Wheels and other camping units.
- Repair and maintenance on propane gas and electric appliances such as furnaces, refrigerators, water heaters and air conditioners.
- Perform maintenance repairs on unit components including but not limited to: siding, windows, doors, awnings, cabinets, counters, plumbing and electrical systems as well as batteries and charging systems.
- Complete Pre-Delivery Inspections of units, follow the predetermined check-list.
- Work with service team to log notes and pictures on work orders ensure clarity for all parties.
- Work with parts department to ensure correct parts are ordered or in-stock for work orders.
- Follow all company policies and procedures including Health and Safety rules and participate in all company and off-site training as required.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- RV Technician experience considered an asset, but training is provided.
- Experience in relatable field, including renovations, handyman etc.
- Mechanical, electrical and electronics aptitude; troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work with a teams, and individually to complete tasks and assignments.
- Able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Good written and verbal communication.
Sicard RV is open Monday to Saturday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. This role covers a weekly rotation working 5 days a week.
Upon completion of training this Technician may be needed to transition to Road Crew, doing off-site repairs between the months of April to October.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
