Class 1 OTR Driver for Daily Trips between Montana and Lethbridge Area
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 Over-the-Road (OTR) Driver to handle daily trips between Montana City and the Lethbridge area and another Driver to haul frac sand in Northern AB. These roles involve operating heavy-duty freight vehicles on a consistent schedule, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, knowledge of heavy equipment operation, and a commitment to safety and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks with Super Bs for daily trips between Montana City and Lethbridge area and another to haul frac sand in Central / Northern AB
- Transport freight efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and load security
- Maintain accurate documentation of trips, deliveries, and vehicle logs
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when required to ensure vehicle readiness
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding trip schedules, delays, or issues
- Follow all safety protocols related to freight handling, heavy equipment operation, and driving procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience in freight transportation and commercial driving preferred
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Basic automotive repair skills for minor troubleshooting and maintenance
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and safety checks
- Ability to work independently on daily trips with minimal supervision
- Physical capability to load/unload freight and perform vehicle inspections as needed

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
