Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment, supporting the overall food service operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food safety and cleanliness, with a willingness to learn and assist in various kitchen tasks.
Duties
- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly to ensure cleanliness and availability for food preparation.
- Assist with basic meal and food preparation tasks under the supervision of kitchen staff.
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including countertops, sinks, and storage spaces.
- Organize and store clean dishes and kitchen supplies properly.
- Support food handling procedures to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
- Help with restocking supplies and ensuring the kitchen remains tidy throughout service hours.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Knowledge of basic cooking, meal preparation, and food handling practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with food safety standards within the food industry is advantageous.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude are necessary for success in this role.
