Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Paint Line Supervisor to lead our painting operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the daily activities of the paint line, ensuring efficient production, high-quality finishes, and continuous process improvements. Your leadership will drive safety, quality, and productivity while fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all activities on the paint line to meet production schedules and quality standards
- Implement process improvements using lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement strategies
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and promote a safe working environment for all team members
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to troubleshoot mechanical issues and optimize equipment performance
- Conduct quality control inspections to maintain high standards of finish and surface integrity
- Support supply chain coordination to ensure timely delivery of materials and minimize downtime
Experience
- Proven experience in manufacturing supervision, preferably within a painting or finishing environment
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices
- Understanding of supply chain management, MRP systems, and inventory control processes
- Experience with quality control standards related to manufacturing and assembly processes
- Ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a culture of safety, quality, and efficiency
