The Gentle Rain is looking for an organized, motivated, and team-oriented Purchasing Manager to join our team!
This position plays an important role in keeping our grocery department running smoothly by sourcing quality products at the best possible prices while helping maintain the welcoming atmosphere our customers love.
Responsibilities include:
- Purchasing products from a variety of grocery suppliers
- Finding the best quality food at competitive prices
- Keeping out-of-stock signage updated
- Communicating discontinued or unavailable products to staff
- Informing staff about new products and arrivals
- Stocking grocery shelves and maintaining department organization
- Assisting with cashier shifts as needed
This position includes a variety of shifts, including some closing shifts from 11:15am–7:15pm.

- Communicates well with both staff and suppliers
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Has an interest in natural foods and health products
- Enjoys a fast-paced retail environment
