Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency in office software, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience with medical or dental offices, QuickBooks, and Google Workspace is highly desirable.
Duties
- Greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring a positive first impression
- Manage multi-line phone systems, direct calls, and take accurate messages
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars using office software
- Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy, including patient or client information
- Handle filing, record keeping, and document management
- Assist with billing, bookkeeping, and basic accounting functions using QuickBooks
- Support administrative tasks such as proofreading documents, organizing files, and preparing correspondence
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Provide excellent customer support by addressing inquiries professionally and promptly
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth office operations
Requirements
- Proven clerical or administrative experience, preferably in a medical or dental office setting
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and data entry systems
- Experience with QuickBooks and bookkeeping is a plus
- Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to manage multi-line phone systems effectively
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism under pressure
- Strong typing skills with accuracy and speed; proofreading abilities are preferred
- Previous experience in customer service or customer support roles is desirable
- Knowledge of front desk procedures and office management best practices
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional administrative training or certification is advantageous
Pay: $17.60-$17.95 per hour
