Vision Therapist

We are a well-established multidisciplinary optometric and vision therapy clinic currently seeking an enthusiastic, detail oriented, people person to join our team on a part time basis Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
- Successful candidate is working towards or has completed the OEP and/or COVT&R
- Exceptional customer service, interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
- Strong critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills with a high attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Enthusiastic team player
- Must be available to work Saturdays
Duties: Work closely with various individuals including children, adults, athletes, special needs and those with traumatic brain injury
- Pre-test incoming vision assessment patients using various optometric equipment and for cognitive skills
- Scribe for OD during vision assessments
- Communicate with vision therapy patients and/or their occupational therapists
- Discuss and plan vision therapy cases with OD to formulate vision therapy plans
- Document vision therapy procedures and patient’s progress throughout their therapy program
- Develop marketing materials to be used to promote the vision therapy program and educate vision therapy patients
