RREC is currently seeking a Senior Program Manager based out of our Vermilion office with consideration given to candidates working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage the development and execution of client workplans and projects including cost estimates and time management, vendor management, quality management, risk management, safety management, procurement, and project integration.
· Review technical reports and documents prior to client submission, including but not limited to Phase 1, 2 and 3 Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), Record of Site Condition (RoSC) forms, Remedial Action Plans (RAPs), and Detailed Site Assessments.
· Develop work scopes and cost estimates for Phase 2 and 3 ESAs while providing support to field staff during execution.
· Analyze field and laboratory data to develop conceptual site models and move sites towards closure of contamination.
· Provide problem solving, planning and office support for the execution of complex assessment and remediation programs.
· Build and maintain positive working relationships with RREC clients and team members, provide mentorship to junior and intermediate staff and work with corporate and client vendors, and other contractor personnel engaged in client projects.
· Work within designated timeframes while completing jobs within approved budgets.
· Collaborate with talented multidisciplinary teams of agrologists, geologists, hydrogeologists, and geophysicists.
· Assist in the development of company specific policies and procedures in your specific area of practice.
Qualifications
· Education: minimum requirement of a college Diploma or a B.Sc. in environmental science, chemistry, biology, soil science, engineering, geology, or hydrogeology.
· Possesses a professional designation with the AIA, APEGA, or ASPB with competencies to sign off on assessment and remediation work scopes.
· Minimum of 10 years of reclamation and remediation experience, including Phase 1, 2, and 3 Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) and reporting.
· Extensive knowledge of all relevant environmental guidelines in Alberta. Can apply relevant regulatory soil and groundwater guidelines to complex sites on upstream oil and gas sites on Public and Private land.
· Experience with the application of Tier 2 guidelines is preferred.
· Understanding of the Subsoil Salinity Tool (SST) or SST certification is considered an asset.
· Extensive knowledge of the AER OneStop submission tool, particularly the evolving Record of Site Condition submission process.
· Self-motivated with a positive attitude and overall willingness to lead by example.

Pay: $70,567.14-$160,990.36 per year
