Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shop Technician to join our team. In this role, you will perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on a wide variety locks, keys and automotive systems. Your expertise will ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely, supporting our commitment to quality service. Responsibilities
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on locks and hardware
- Maintain detailed service records, complete inspection reports, and document repair procedures accurately.
- Support customer service efforts by providing clear communication regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
Skills
- Proven experience working with dealership or OEM equipment;
- Strong mechanical knowledge of locks, hardware and automotive systems.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, soldering irons, and other maintenance tools.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for diagnostics and repairs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong customer service orientation.
- Capable of performing heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during repairs.
