Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Seasonal flexibility)

Position Summary
The Landscape Construction Foreman is a critical on-site leader responsible for overseeing all physical aspects of high-end residential landscape construction projects. You will lead a dedicated crew of 1 to 6 crew members, ensuring projects are built efficiently, safely, and to an exacting standard of structural integrity and aesthetic beauty.

Core Responsibilities & Job Duties
· Project Execution & Blueprint Mastery: Manage site execution from ground-breaking to final handover. Read and interpret blueprints, structural engineering drawings, and structural specifications to delegate daily tasks effectively.
· Multi-Disciplinary Carpentry & Masonry: Supervise and actively participate in building premium architectural features, including:
- Masonry: Natural stone, wet-lay flagstone patios, steps, interlocking walkways, driveways, retaining walls, pillars, and structural concrete pads.
- Carpentry: Custom wood elements including structural framing/decks (pressure-treated and composite systems), pergolas, fences, pavilions, and custom privacy screens.
· Crew Leadership & Site Logistics: Schedule day-to-day work tasks, plan precise labor/material delivery workflows, and maximize field productivity. Conduct mandatory on-site orientations, track field attendance, and provide proactive mentorship to crew members.
· Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Safely operate heavy machinery (skid steers, mini-excavators, power barrows) and specialized small power equipment (laser levels, quick-cut saws, jackhammers). Ensure preventative daily maintenance, lubrication, and clean up of assigned trucks, trailers, and equipment.
· Client & Subcontractor Relations: Maintain a polite, professional, and courteous demeanor with clients on-site. Coordinate smoothly with structural subcontractors to verify alignment, execution standards, and project timelines.
· Reporting & Safety Compliance: Complete and submit daily site logs, inspection forms, and billing sheets via mobile apps. Enforce local Occupational Health and Safety regulations (OHSA) and ensure 100% crew compliance with corporate and regulatory PPE guidelines.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements)
· Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in the landscape construction, custom residential civil carpentry, or premium hardscaping industry.
· Technical Knowledge: Comprehensive operational mastery of site grades, structural wood framing codes, concrete forming/pouring, and professional horticultural practices for large specimen tree/plant installation.
· Leadership Traits: Exceptional communication skills, problem-solving abilities under structural constraints, and a strong personal sense of ethics, reliability, and project ownership.
· Physical Stamina: Ability to comfortably lift 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout an entire shift and work productively outdoors across fluctuating seasonal weather environments.
· Licensing: Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract (G-class minimum; AR or D-class license is considered a major asset for towing trailers).
· Communication Assets: Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing technical English. Owns and operates a smart device capable of executing mobile reporting apps.
