Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. In Saint John, NB. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help ensure excellent patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures
- Sterilize dental instruments and tools
- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
- Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral healthcare
- Take digital X-rays of patients' teeth
- Impressions/Tray fabrication/ Scanner
Qualifications:
- Dental Assistant Level II Certification
- Knowledge of Maxident/Dexis or similar dental software is a plus
- Experience in dental receptionist duties is beneficial not necessary
