Koala Kidz Daycare is a licensed, CWELCC-approved childcare centre in Vaughan seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join our growing team.
We are looking for a dedicated educator who thrives in a nurturing, fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering high-quality early learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate programs aligned with Ontario framework.
- Provide a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for all children
- Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
- Maintain daily communication with parents and guardians
- Ensure compliance with Ministry of Education licensing standards and CWELCC guidelines
- Supervise children during classroom and outdoor activities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom
- Collaborate with team members and management
Requirements
- RECE certification (Registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators – in good standing)
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a licensed childcare setting (preferred)
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)
- Current CPR & First Aid Certification (Level C)
- Up-to-date immunization records
- Strong knowledge of Ontario childcare regulations and CWELCC program
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred
- Candidate residing in or near Vaughan
- Experience working with diverse needs and behaviors
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively within a classroom setting.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to guide and motivate young learners.
- Proficiency in computer operation and classroom management software.
- Classroom experience demonstrating the ability to create an engaging learning environment.
