Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver to deliver bulk aggregates (soil, rocks, sand, mulch) join our team. This role is vital in ensuring our customers receive their orders promptly and efficiently, supporting our commitment to excellent service and community engagement.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate single axle dump truck to transport aggregates within the local area.
- Load and unload merchandise with care, ensuring items are secure.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with the team regarding delivery schedules.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Assist with warehouse organization when needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety.
- Qualifications
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in commercial driving preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts and heavy equipment is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to lift heavy packages and stand for extended periods.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential.
- Knowledge of local routes and traffic laws.
