Eastern Shore Driving Academy is a locally owned, community‑focused driving school serving Porters Lake and the Eastern Shore. We take pride in helping local youth become confident, safe, and responsible drivers. Our training programs are created in‑house — we don't outsource — and we're always improving them with new ideas, local knowledge, and community input.
We're looking for a licensed Nova Scotia Driving Instructor who shares our values and wants to make a real impact in our community.
The Role
As a Driving Instructor with Eastern Shore Driving Academy, you'll work one‑on‑one with students from our local communities, helping them build the skills and confidence they need to drive safely on Eastern Shore roads. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys flexible hours, a supportive environment, and meaningful work with local families.
Hours are part‑time, casual, and flexible, depending on your availability and seasonal demand.

Who We're Looking For
- Licensed Nova Scotia Driving Instructor (required)
- Patient, calm, and community‑oriented
- Passionate about helping local youth become safe, confident drivers
- Familiarity with the Eastern Shore area is a strong asset
- Clean driving record and clear criminal/vulnerable sector checks
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to participate in future training development and course improvements
Work Area
- Primarily Porters Lake, Estern Shore and Dartmouth area.
