Job Title: Product Tester
Job Description
This contract role supports the Research and Development team by executing new product design verification activities for medical devices. You will perform testing tasks that confirm product compliance with electrical, mechanical, environmental, reliability, and functional performance requirements, following detailed test plans and protocols prepared by Test Engineers.
Responsibilities

Perform product design verification and chemical compatibility testing on new medical products according to established test plans and test protocols.

Follow test protocol steps precisely, carefully observing test behavior and any abnormalities during execution.

Record test data accurately and document observations in detail with clear, concise notes.

Report test results to the appropriate team members and repeat symptoms or test conditions for troubleshooting whenever possible.

Use laboratory tools and testing equipment to perform cleanroom and lab-based tests in support of product verification.

Support production verification activities, including tasks related to assembly, packaging, labeling, and production line testing as needed.

Apply an analytical approach to problem solving when issues arise during testing, and contribute to root cause analysis.

Work independently on assigned test tasks while also collaborating effectively with upstream and downstream colleagues.

Adhere to established procedures and protocols to ensure product compliance with medical device verification methods.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory and testing environment, following all relevant guidelines.
Work Environment
You work in a clean, quiet laboratory environment located upstairs, separate from the main production floor. The culture is friendly and diverse, with colleagues who support collaboration and open communication. This is a first-shift position, typically running from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The role allows you to sit or stand throughout the shift, depending on your preference and the task at hand, while using lab tools and testing equipment in a controlled, professional setting.
Essential Skills

Technical diploma or higher in a relevant field.

Experience working in a production environment.

Familiarity with laboratory tools and testing equipment.

Ability to perform lab testing in cleanroom or laboratory settings.

Analytical approach to problem solving, especially in testing and verification activities.

Capability to record test data accurately and document observations in detail with clarity.

Knowledge of basic medical device verification methods (preferred).

Strong troubleshooting skills for identifying and repeating test symptoms to support issue resolution.

Excellent interpersonal communication skills with upstream and downstream colleagues.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team effectively within tight deadlines.

Ability to increase efficiency and maintain focus during repetitive work.
