Absolute Distribution & Hydraulics is hiring an Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, organized, sharp with details, and able to work in a fast-paced industrial parts environment. This role includes customer service, inside sales, parts sourcing, quoting, order entry, inventory support, and warehouse assistance.
This is a hands-on position. You will be dealing with customers, answering phones, sourcing parts, building quotes, creating orders, helping with inventory, and supporting the team wherever needed.
Responsibilities
- Help walk-in, phone, and email customers.
- Source hydraulic and industrial parts.
- Build quotes, sales orders, and purchase orders.
- Follow up with customers and suppliers.
- Pick, pack, receive, and stage orders.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock organization.
- Help correct part number and quantity issues.
- Support warehouse, VMI, hose bay, and delivery needs when required.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and professional.
- Follow company procedures and communicate clearly with the team.
Requirements
- Parts, warehouse, customer service, or inside sales experience preferred.
- Hydraulic hose, fittings, industrial supply, oilfield, trucking, agriculture, or mechanical knowledge is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good customer service skills.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift and organize parts/inventory.
- Basic computer skills.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence preferred.
- Must be willing to learn and take direction.
