What to Expect
- Accountable for oversight, governance, planning, and continuous improvement of the Technology Solutions Vendor Management process
- Take ownership of strategic vendor relationships that support Definity's technology and business objectives
- Partner with leaders across Technology Solutions, Procurement, Legal, Risk, Security, and Finance to deliver successful business outcomes
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and unlock greater value from our vendor partnerships
- Lead initiatives that strengthen governance, regulatory compliance, and vendor lifecycle management practices
- Influence key contract decisions by providing insights, recommendations, and solutions that drive efficiency and business results
- Facilitate executive-level vendor engagements and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), helping turn discussions into measurable outcomes
- Help shape and evolve the future of vendor management within Technology Solutions through continuous improvement and innovative thinking
- Own challenges, remove obstacles, and drive work forward in a fast-paced environment where your contributions are visible and valued
- Operate as a trusted advisor to stakeholders while fostering strong, collaborative relationships across the organization
Collaborate with vendor risk to manage regulatory compliance for Tier 1 and Tier 2 vendors i.e., OSFI – B10 mandates

What You Bring
- A passion for problem-solving, continuous improvement, and delivering meaningful business results
- Strong relationship management and influencing skills, with experience engaging senior leaders, business stakeholders, and strategic vendor partners
- Experience supporting technology and business teams through vendor sourcing, contract negotiations, and ongoing vendor governance
- 5+ years of experience in technology vendor management, strategic sourcing, procurement, or a related role supporting technology and business functions
- Skilled at navigating complex contract decisions, balancing risk, value, and business priorities to achieve the best outcomes
- A university degree or college diploma in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Experience within the Canadian Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry is considered an asset

Salary Range : $88,000-$138,000
Actual salary for the role may vary depending on work location of the successful candidate and other factors including but not limited to, skills, education, experience, working conditions and the local labour market.
