Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail location. The Store Manager is responsible for driving sales performance, maximizing profitability, delivering an exceptional customer experience, and leading a high-performing team. This role requires a hands-on leader who can effectively manage store operations, develop employees, maintain brand standards, and support a seamless omnichannel shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of day-to-day store operations.
- Drive sales performance and execute strategies to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
- Analyze sales results and customer trends to identify opportunities for growth.
- Optimize staffing schedules to align with business needs, productivity targets, and budget expectations.
- Oversee inventory processes, including shipments, markdowns, inventory counts, and damage control.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, cash handling procedures, loss prevention practices, and health and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment, including stockrooms and administrative areas.
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members to achieve individual and store objectives.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and engagement.
- Provide ongoing feedback and support to ensure team members meet performance expectations.
- Oversee omnichannel operations, including online order fulfillment and customer engagement initiatives.
- Ensure team members are trained on loyalty programs, store technology, and omnichannel processes.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and lead by example in creating a personalized shopping experience.
- Resolve customer concerns and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Execute visual merchandising standards in accordance with brand guidelines.
- Adapt product displays and store layouts to support business objectives while maintaining brand consistency.
- Communicate company initiatives, operational updates, and key information effectively to the store team.
- Support additional operational needs as required.
Qualifications
- University/college degree or equivalent experience in retail management.
- Minimum of 2 years of retail management experience with a proven ability to drive sales and deliver superior customer service.
Skills
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to articulate key ideas and objectives across all levels of the business.
- Strong people management skills with a demonstrated ability to build effective relationships, coach team members, and drive performance.
- Solid analytical skills to extract, interpret, and act on data to support business decisions.
- Proficiency in POS systems, with a strong understanding of key retail performance metrics.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and execute strategic plans effectively.
