We are seeking a dependable, professional, and customer-focused Night Auditor to join our hotel team. This is a key position responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during overnight hours while delivering exceptional guest service and completing daily accounting procedures.
The ideal candidate has previous hotel front desk experience, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is confident managing multiple responsibilities independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide outstanding customer service during overnight hours.
- Perform guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
- Complete the nightly audit, reconcile daily transactions, and prepare reports.
- Manage reservations, room availability, and guest inquiries.
- Monitor and manage reservations from Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) and direct booking channels.
- Answer and operate the hotel’s switchboard, directing calls professionally.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve concerns in a courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all overnight procedures are completed.
- Work independently while maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests and the property.
- Deliver exceptional service that contributes to positive guest reviews and an outstanding guest experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a hotel front desk or Night Auditor position is required.
- Strong understanding of hotel reservation systems, Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), and direct reservations.
- Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn hotel property management systems.
- Experience operating a multi-line switchboard or telephone system.
- Strong multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and make sound decisions independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Friendly, outgoing, and professional personality with a commitment to exceptional guest service.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently throughout overnight shifts.
