ABOUT THE POSITION
As a member of the 2026 Stampede operations team for Wildhorse and National Saloon, you will play a key role in ensuring all corporate event spaces are professionally prepared, organized, and ready for guests each day. This position is essential in maintaining a high‑quality guest experience and supporting smooth event execution throughout the Stampede period.

The Wildhorse Saloon is your destination for the greatest Stampede Party in Calgary. Located in the heart of downtown, we’ve got daily concerts, western barbecue, Double Zero pizza, a non-stop dance floor, our own outdoor midway, and 20+ bars serving drinks that will knock your boots off!
National Saloon is located behind National on 10th in the heart of Calgary's Beltline is your favorite tent experience. Live music, great food and the food times you know and love from National. Your one-stop-shop this summer for all your partying needs.
WHAT WE OFFER

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Complete daily setup of all assigned corporate event spaces.
- Move and arrange corrals and stanchions to create secure, clearly defined guest areas.
- Rope off designated sections including VIP areas, bar spaces, and reserved seating.
- Set up and place all event signage, including “PRIVATE EVENT” signs and custom corporate materials.
- Arrange tables, stools, and furniture according to event layouts and guest counts.
- Prepare bar and guest areas for service, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
- Assist in overall tent setup, including placing shared furniture and maintaining cleanliness.
- Manage garbage and recycling stations and maintain floor safety standards.
- Support event-specific setups such as food stations, chafing dishes, and table settings.
- Ensure all service items (plates, napkins, cutlery) and food signage are properly displayed.
WHAT YOU HAVE
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow setup instructions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Physical capability to lift, move, and arrange furniture and equipment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate with team members and bar staff.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing event requirements and schedules.
