Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Safety and Compliance Coordinator specializing in Towing and Truck Repair to oversee safety protocols, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a culture of safety within our towing and repair operations.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and submitting the Safety Management System (SMS) and Commercial Vehicle Operator’s Registration (CVOR) monthly reports.
- Scheduling truck maintenance as needed for service.
- Training drivers on Electronic Logs (E-logs). Must have a knowledge of Samsara.
- Conducting pre-trip inspection training for new drivers.
- Checking all company trucks for regular service dates, repairs, damages, maintenance, and safety compliance.
- Responding to all calls related to safety and compliance.
- Maintaining all tractor and trailer files.
- Processing IFTA and IRP licensing/renewals, and insurance.
- Auditing driver logs and addressing any discrepancies.
- Investigating collisions and incidents.
- Manage and maintain all Driver Qualification files, ensuring all documents are current.
- Ensuring drivers accurately complete accident/incident reports when required.
- Scheduling safety meetings and training for drivers as necessary.
- Processing and maintaining MTO and insurance requirements.
- Ensuring accurate record-keeping of driver records.
Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
