Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Window Cleaner to join our facilities maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the appearance of windows across various commercial and residential properties. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred, along with familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in cleaning tasks. The Window Cleaner will play a vital role in ensuring our clients' properties are spotless and well-maintained, contributing to a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Clean windows on both interior and exterior surfaces using appropriate tools and techniques
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Perform facilities maintenance tasks related to window cleaning, including minor repairs if necessary
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and safe during and after cleaning procedures
- Manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and address any concerns
- Heavy lifting of equipment or supplies may be required; adhere to safety protocols during all tasks
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and customer service throughout each project
Qualifications
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience preferred; familiarity with facilities maintenance is a plus
- Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment required
- Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively
- Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining quality standards
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and work in various weather conditions if working outdoors
- Reliable transportation or means to access different job sites as needed
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Seasonal
Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour
