ABOUT THE POSITION:
The Warehouse Manager is a key management role responsible for overseeing operations at a regional distribution center. This position ensures efficient handling of products from receipt to shipment, compliance with company policies, and high standards of customer service. The manager also leads inventory management, facility maintenance, and staff development to ensure a safe and effective environment.
DUTIES:
- Manage daily warehouse functions including receiving, put away, picking, packing, shipping, and returns.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies quickly to protect service levels and financial accuracy.
- Ensure timely, accurate order fulfillment to support internal and external customer satisfaction.
- Promote and enforce a safety-first culture compliant with WorkSafe, OSHA, and WHMIS standards.
- Lead, coach, and develop both office and warehouse associates, supervisors, and leads to achieve operational goals.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce cost, reduce error rates, and improve service outcomes.
- Ensure accurate, timely transactions in ERP and WMS systems, including RF scanning and label printing processes.
ABOUT THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in warehouse or wholesale distribution management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to manage a team in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with ERP systems including OMS, WMS and TMS.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
