Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve customers with enthusiasm, answer questions about menu items, and upsell additional products to enhance their experience.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, perform cash handling duties, and balance cash registers at the end of shifts.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food prep area, counters, and dining space in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high standards of service.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met at all times.
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food industry setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Experience using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling protocols.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently through excellent time management skills.
- Previous kitchen or serving experience will be considered an asset for success in this role.
