Job Title: In-Home Support Worker
Job Overview:
Private client looking for caring dedicated mature Home Support Worker to help care for my 75 year old spouse. Day to day support in various aspects of companionship, caregiving, and assisted living,
Responsibilities:
· Assist with safe transfers (bed, chair, toilet) using proper techniques and mobility aids
· Support repositioning, and range‑of‑motion exercises as directed
· Provide personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting
· Prepare simple meals and assist with feeding & drinking when required
· Perform light housekeeping: laundry, dishes, tidying, maintaining a safe environment
· Accompany client to appointments or short outings as needed
· Monitor and report changes in mobility, health, or safety concerns
· Provide companionship, reassurance, and respectful communication
· Follow care plans, safety procedures, and infection‑control practices
· Maintain confidentiality of all client information

Requirements:
- 1-3 years’ experience in caregiving or related fields such as nursing or assisted living homes
- Ability to perform physical tasks/transfers as needed
- Compassionate attitude, safety, and empathy towards full care
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
