Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics, Customs & Inventory Coordinator to manage international and domestic shipments, maintain inventory accuracy, ensure customs compliance, and coordinate with 3PL providers. This hands-on role requires strong collaboration, clear communication, and experience with ERP systems with a solid understanding of supply chain dynamics, allowing for effective demand planning and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments and manage shipping documentation.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and international trade laws.
- Prepare, review, and process shipping documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
- Monitor and maintain inventory across internal and 3PL warehouses.
- Provide timely updates and reporting on shipments, inventory levels, and customs issues.
- Perform inventory counts, reconciliations, and audits.
- Act as the main contact for 3PL providers and resolve operational issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align logistics and inventory priorities.
- Other duties as directed by Manager
Experience
- 3+ years’ experience in logistics, inventory management, warehouse distribution or customs compliance.
- Familiarity with logistics operations, including shipping & receiving processes and order picking/packing.
- Experience with transportation management systems and warehouse management systems is highly desirable.
- Strong data analysis skills to interpret inventory metrics and drive operational improvements.
- Knowledge of import/export regulations, customs documentation, and e-commerce fulfillment processes.
- Previous experience in procurement or sourcing roles is beneficial.
- Familiarity with ERP, AS400 or similar software systems is an advantage.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per hour
