This full-time, on-site role in Ottawa, ON is for Senior and Intermediate Interior Designers who will contribute to workplace-focused interior design projects from concept through completion. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing design concepts, preparing space plans, and producing detailed drawings and documentation.
Strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with the ability to create efficient, user-centered workplace environments.
Knowledge of Architecture and construction principles, enabling effective collaboration with multidisciplinary project teams.
Proficiency in preparing Construction Drawings and technical documentation suitable for permitting, tender, and construction.
Experience with FF&E selection, specification, and coordination, including finishes, furniture, and fixtures appropriate for commercial interiors.
Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; professional registration or eligibility (e.g., ARIDO, IDC or equivalent) is an asset.
Competence with design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) and strong visual presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively with clients and project teams.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills; prior experience in workplace or commercial interiors is highly beneficial.
