SUMMARY
We currently have an opportunity for a full-time Industrial Cleaner to join our Operations team.
This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of both our warehouse and office facilities. Approximately 50% of your time will be dedicated to cleaning our warehouse and production areas, while the remaining 50% will focus on maintaining our office spaces, including workstations, meeting rooms, washrooms, lunchrooms, and our Innovation/Test Kitchen.
The warehouse environment is fast-paced and active. Applicants should be comfortable working around warehouse equipment and operations while following all safety procedures and maintaining high sanitation standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Warehouse Cleaning
- Follow HACCP sanitation schedules and food safety requirements.
- Clean warehouse aisles, floors, walls, racking, loading areas, and common workspaces.
- Operate floor scrubbers and other industrial cleaning equipment.
- Clean under pallet racking and equipment.
- Remove dust, dirt, grease, and debris from warehouse equipment and surfaces.
- Ensure all waste is properly segregated and disposed of according to company procedures.
- Monitor work areas for safety hazards and report concerns promptly.
Office & Facility Cleaning
- Clean offices, workstations, hallways, reception areas, and boardrooms.
- Clean and sanitize employee washrooms.
- Clean lunchrooms, kitchens, and our Innovation/Test Kitchen.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and disinfect surfaces throughout the office.
- Empty garbage and recycling containers throughout the facility.
- Replenish paper products, soap, and other washroom supplies.
- Maintain a professional appearance throughout all office spaces.
General Duties
- Safely use cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment.
- Wear required personal protective equipment.
- Assist with special cleaning projects and seasonal tasks as assigned.
- Provide back-up support for other cleaning responsibilities when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 3-4 years of commercial, industrial, warehouse, or institutional cleaning experience.
- Previous warehouse experience is considered an asset.
- Experience operating floor scrubbers or similar cleaning equipment is an asset.
- Comfortable working in an active warehouse environment while following all required health and safety procedures.
- Able to safely lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work.
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, and climbing throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Able to follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
