About Us
Musicworks Canada is a music-centered academy that provides quality music education in Alberta and British Columbia. We offer lessons for students of all ages, from toddlers to adults and provide instruction in a variety of instruments, including piano, guitar, violin, drums, brass/woodwinds, voice, ukulele, and music theory.
We are expanding and looking for engaging and dedicated Music Instructors to join our in‑studio teaching team.
Position Overview
We are seeking instructors who enjoy teaching and supporting students in their musical development. This role involves working with learners of different ages and skill levels in a positive and encouraging studio environment.
Responsibilities
- Teach in‑person music lessons to beginner through advanced students
- Create a supportive, motivating, and enjoyable learning experience
- Communicate students progress and lesson plans clearly with Front Staff
- Collaborate with Front Staff to ensure smooth scheduling and a positive student experience
Qualifications:
Required
- Ability to teach at least one musical instrument
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Enthusiasm for teaching students of all ages
- RCM certification, equivalent training, or a post-secondary music background
Assets
- Previous teaching experience
- Ability to teach multiple instruments
- Access to transportation (if teaching at more than one location)
