Sweet Grass is a leading oat processing facility dedicated to providing high-quality products to our customers. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Production Assistant to join our team and support daily operations in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the processing, packaging, and handling of oat products.
- Operate and maintain machinery according to safety protocols.
- Monitor product quality and report any issues to supervisors.
- Scale in/out trucks after office hours
- Load and unload raw materials and finished products.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Support other team members as needed to meet production targets.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing setting is an asset but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Forklift certification is an asset but not required
- Basic mechanical skills are a plus.
