Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, assembling, and plating dishes
- Ensure all food handling procedures meet safety and sanitation guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
- Support food service operations by serving dishes efficiently and courteously
- Follow food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure quality control
- Assist in inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying management of stock needs
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
Requirements
- Previous experience in cooking, food preparation, or restaurant service is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Basic understanding of kitchen equipment and safety procedures
