Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman & Apprentice Electricians to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects, including industrial, commercial, and renovation sites. This role requires a strong knowledge of electrical codes, schematics, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure safety and efficiency on all job sites.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute electrical installations and repairs accurately.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems including low voltage wiring, power tools, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform electrical work in construction, renovation, or maintenance settings.
- Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure all work complies with electrical codes and safety standards.
- Assist in the planning and execution of electrical projects from start to finish.
- Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on existing electrical systems.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople such as handyman professionals during renovation projects.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman & Apprentice Electrician license or certification.
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician or in a similar construction environment.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
- Hands-on experience with low voltage systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
- Experience working on renovation projects or in commercial/industrial settings.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and quality standards.
