Position Overview:
- Lawn mowing, trimming, edging, fertilizing, and general lawn care duties
- Weeding and cultivating gardens
- Pruning shrubs and small trees
- Installing mulch, soil, sod, flowers, shrubs, and trees
- Assisting with landscape maintenance and construction projects
- Operating and maintaining landscaping equipment including:
- Lawn mowers
- Line trimmers
- Hedge trimmers
- Blowers
- Pruning equipment
- Following company policies and safety procedures
Position Requirements:
- Valid G driver’s license considered an asset
- Landscape experience considered an asset
- Knowledge of plants and proper planting practices is an asset
- Physically fit and able to lift, bend, kneel, and work outdoors regularly
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions
- Punctual and dependable
- Strong work ethic and self-motivated
- Ability to work well with others
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
