LeDuc Asphalt Milling is one of Alberta's larger asphalt milling fleets and we're continuing to grow. We are currently operating out of Aldersyde, AB, and will be moving into our new facility in Fulton Industrial Park around Christmas 2026.
We're looking for an experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic who takes pride in their work, enjoys diagnosing complex issues, and wants to be part of a company that is expanding and investing in its future. As a Heavy Duty Mechanic for LeDuc Asphalt Milling, You're Responsible For:
- Diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment, trucks, and trailers
- Troubleshooting hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and diesel systems
- Performing preventative maintenance and inspections
- Maintaining fleet reliability and minimizing equipment downtime
- Accurately documenting repairs, diagnostics, and parts usage
- Preparing and maintaining equipment for seasonal demands
- Supporting service truck call-outs and field repairs when required
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Representing LeDuc Asphalt Milling with professionalism and pride
Equipment You'll Work On:
- Asphalt milling machines, primarily Wirtgen equipment
- Highway trucks and trailers
- Wheel loaders
- Skid steers
- Challenger sweepers
- Fleet support equipment

Preferred Qualifications
- Heavy Equipment Technician or Truck & Transport certification
- Strong experience with diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Previous experience working on milling equipment is considered an asset
- Previous field service experience is considered an asset
- Valid Class 5 driver's license (Class 1 or 3 considered an asset)
- CVIP certification is considered an asset
