Key Responsibilities
- Operate boom trucks to deliver drywall and building materials to various locations
- Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and meet customer expectations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to resolve any issues that may arise during deliveries
- Document delivery, accuracy, and receipt of orders by the customer according to company directives and report any discrepancies to company
- Maintain and monitor truck maintenance and driving record requirements such as daily logbooks, and maintain required documents for safety, security, and quality processes
- Safely operate boom and unload building materials safely always being aware of surroundings
- Follow company policies and procedures, MTO and other applicable regulations
- Ability to work weekends when required
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Valid DZ license with a safe driving record
- Valid 0-8 ton crane certificate
- Experience operating boom trucks or similar heavy equipment
- Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills
- Strong commitment to safety and following safety protocols
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers and team members
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Knowledge of local delivery routes and areas is a plus
