Job Overview
Fortius Mechanical Inc., a UA516 union contractor, is seeking an experienced HVAC/R Technician with a valid Gas A ticket to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Inspect systems, identify malfunctions, and perform necessary repairs
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and service manuals
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure system efficiency
- Repair or replace faulty components as required
- Test and verify HVAC system performance for proper operation
- Collaborate with other technicians and contractors on installations and repairs
- Provide excellent customer service by clearly explaining technical issues to clients
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Gas B Ticket (required), Gas A Ticket considered an asset.
- Proven experience in HVAC system installation, maintenance, and repair
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Familiarity with boilers or other mechanical systems is an asset
- Valid driver’s license (required)

Pay Rate:
$74.93 – $81.54 per hour (UA516 union package)
