Commission-Based Pay | Potential Earnings: $50,000 – $120,000+ per year
We are currently seeking experienced automotive sales professionals to join the growing team at Buy Metro and the owner’s group of companies.
This is a commission-based role with uncapped earning potential. This range reflects potential earnings based on performance. Your success depends on your ability to sell effectively. We provide the tools, training, and support needed to help you excel in this role.
To help you get started, we offer a $500 weekly non-recoverable draw for the first month. This draw is applied against commissions earned, but there are no clawbacks — if you have a slower week during this period, you keep the draw. This is designed to provide income stability while you adapt, train, and build your sales pipeline.
Hours: Monday to Friday availability 8:30 am to 6 pm and Saturday availability 8:30 am to 5 pm.
We are looking for individuals who can develop an in-depth understanding of various product lines, sub-prime financing, and everything in between. Suitable candidates must be comfortable creating relationships with customers through phone consultations, in-person meetings, follow-up, and closing.
We are looking for eager, enthusiastic, and trainable individuals who want to make a great living while changing the lives of our customers through the purchase of a vehicle.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Have the ability to handle your customer through every aspect of the selling/financing process
- Demonstrate vehicle features by explaining characteristics and capabilities
- Offer vehicle financing and insurance to customers and provide them with a thorough explanation of aftermarket products and extended warranties
- Discuss and educate customers on current lender requirements
- Work with customers to identify their wants and needs in a vehicle based on their approval rate
- Conduct sales and leasing of vehicles in accordance with dealership procedures concerning customer handling, closing the sale and delivery procedures
- Prospect to increase sales volume
- Monitor DealerTrack for leads and schedule appointments with customers
- Consult financial institutions to obtain funding options
- Close sales by overcoming objections, negotiating price, completing sales/purchase contracts, explaining/offering warranties, services, and financing
- Deliver vehicles safely and on time
- Provide customers a complete explanation of manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies
- Track and report business office performance metrics
- Exceed customer's expectations with regards to customer service and follow up
Qualifications and Skills:
- At least 1 year of experience in Automotive Sales
- Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record
- Working knowledge of automotive sales aspects
- Self-motivated, energetic and able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong communication skills
- Friendly attitude and positive team participation skills
- Above average computer skills and technically savvy
