Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender who can also serve, to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of food and beverage preparation, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves mixing drinks, serving customers, and ensuring all food safety standards are met, contributing to an enjoyable experience for all patrons.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using Toast POS system
- Greet guests warmly, take drink orders, and provide recommendations when appropriate.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering and basic math calculations for bills and change.
- Ensure responsible serving by monitoring guest alcohol consumption in accordance with legal guidelines.
- Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Uphold hospitality standards by creating a welcoming environment through excellent customer service skills.
Requirements
- Prior experience in food industry or restaurant environment preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles.
- Knowledge of Toast POS systems would be a preference
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Understanding of food safety regulations, food handling, and proper sanitation procedures.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and calculating bills accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $17.85 per hour
