Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender/Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages and food, and creating a welcoming environment for all guests. This role requires a strong understanding of food safety, POS systems, and effective time management to ensure smooth operations during busy hours. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with Micros POS are highly preferred. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering memorable dining experiences while maintaining high standards of hospitality and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Take orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner, ensuring presentation standards are met
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist in setting up the bar and dining space before service shifts
- Ensure guest satisfaction by providing attentive and friendly service throughout their visit
- Restock supplies as needed, including garnishes, glassware, and bar tools
- Follow all food handling procedures to uphold food safety standards
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations effectively during peak hours through excellent time management skills
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies and verify guest ages when necessary
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant or food service environments, with knowledge of serving protocols
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for order entry and cashiering
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing tabs
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality setting while maintaining professionalism
- Hospitality-oriented attitude with a focus on creating positive guest experiences

Pay: $18.25-$19.00 per hour
