Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our team. This role involves performing welding and fabrication tasks to support facility operations, equipment maintenance, and custom projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, electrical experience, and leadership skills to oversee projects and ensure quality standards are met. Stainless welding experience perferred.
Duties
- Perform welding operations using various techniques to fabricate, repair, or modify metal components
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and electrical diagrams to execute fabrication tasks accurately
- Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for troubleshooting and process control enhancements
- Conduct facilities maintenance including equipment repairs, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting electrical or mechanical issues
- Collaborate with with the team to develop fabrication solutions that meet project specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Qualifications
- Proven experience in welding (MIG, TIG, Stick) with a strong understanding of welding safety standards
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in manufacturing environments
- Electrical experience including troubleshooting electrical systems and understanding schematics
- Strong communication skills in English for effective teamwork and documentation
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices including troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality standards

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
