Your role

Champion the adoption of an agentic AI mindset, proactively leveraging AI-driven tools and automation to streamline business processes, enhance decision-making, and deliver a more seamless, responsive client experience.
- Develop and implement sales and risk strategies that align with our strategic objectives and drive profitable growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive integrated initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness and elevate client acquisition, retention, and overall experience.
- Drive performance across all sales channels through a strategic, data-driven framework, establishing benchmarks, influencing decision-making, and optimizing outcomes at a portfolio level.
- Identify and capitalize on emerging market opportunities, leading the development and deployment of products, services, and growth initiatives with long-term strategic impact.
- Advocate for the voice of the client, shaping strategic priorities through direct engagement with key partners, vendors, and stakeholders, and influencing solutions that enhance client value and satisfaction.

The Equipment Finance Strategy team is a dynamic group of professionals committed to excellence, innovation, and collaboration. Reporting to the Chief Strategy and Integration Officer, Equipment Finance, you’ll work closely with leaders across the organization to align strategic efforts with broader business goals. Prerequisites

A degree in commerce or equivalent experience in strategy or sales leadership/effectiveness.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in the Canadian financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of the B2B equipment finance market.
- Strong ability to confidently navigate and bridge both business and technology domains.
- Proven success in developing strategic sales and marketing plans that drive growth.
- Strong facilitation and public speaking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Word).
- Experience with performance measurement, client experience metrics, and business activity management.
