Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency
- Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including sanitizing surfaces and tools
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of food products
- Support the kitchen team during busy service times to ensure timely meal delivery
- Restock supplies as needed and assist with inventory management
- Adhere to all health regulations and safety procedures to create a safe working environment
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a restaurant or food service setting
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours
- Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen operations
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with staff members
- Serving experience is a plus, demonstrating customer-focused service skills
